I know it's been quite a while since an update. Although I still search diligently for pertinent news related to indexing, I just haven't seen anything lately that qualified. I did pick up one item today that might be of use.
On another subject, though, while I've enjoyed doing this news blog, it really hasn't been all that attractive to subscribers--only a few people have signed up. Probably most of these already know from other comments that I will be retiring completely from indexing as of August 31, 2008. After thirty-eight years now of freelance indexing, it's time to turn my attention to other things. I will continue to post relevant news until the 31st.
I do very much appreciate the several subscribers who sent me donations.
